NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS) has developed a first-of-its-kind course for Mobile Marketing, which will be taught online and via mobile devices. The Mobile Marketing for the Small to Medium-sized Businesses course has been designed by Marketing Adjunct Angelo Biasi and will be offered through individual lesson apps that learners can download and engage with on their devices. Students will set their own pace in the course, and there will be quizzes at the end of each lesson that will test the students grasp of the basic concepts of Mobile Marketing.
We think leveraging the power of M-Learning (Mobile-Learning) is a great way to truly drive home the benefits of mobile. Students of the Mobile Marketing course will be able to understand first-hand how beneficial mobile can be in different business situations. Since the app is offered free to a global audience, it should encourage downloads. Students who successfully complete the mobile app course will be offered a discount on the price of enrolling in the NYU-SCPS summer course, “Mobile Marketing Strategy Initiative”.
